These terms are an agreement between you and NEARCRAFT TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, India ("Nearcraft", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the Yelo app and yeloapp.in ("Yelo"). By using Yelo you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Yelo
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity on your account.
2. What Yelo does
Yelo lets you create greeting cards, festival wishes and status posts by adding your photo and name to our templates, then save or share them. We may add, change or remove features and templates at any time.
3. Your content
- You keep ownership of the photos and names you upload ("Your Content").
- You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and display Your Content only to run Yelo for you, for example to render your cards.
- You confirm you have the right to use Your Content. Only upload photos of yourself, or photos you have permission to use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Yelo to:
- upload content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes anyone's rights, including content prohibited under Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021;
- impersonate someone else or mislead people about who made a card;
- spread misinformation or content that threatens public order, or break election laws or the Model Code of Conduct;
- reverse-engineer, scrape or disrupt Yelo, or get around any of its limits.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Templates and our content
Templates, designs, artwork, the Yelo name and logo belong to Nearcraft or our licensors. You may share the cards you make for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell templates or use them to build a competing service.
Political party names and symbols that appear in Yelo belong to their owners. They are shown so supporters can share greetings. Yelo is not affiliated with or endorsed by any political party.
6. Premium and payments
- Some templates and features need a paid subscription or purchase ("Premium"). Prices are shown in the app before you pay, inclusive of applicable taxes.
- Payments are processed by Google Play (or the Apple App Store on iOS) under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your store account. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's or Apple's refund policies, except where the law requires otherwise.
- We may change Premium prices for future billing periods. We will tell you in advance.
7. Notifications
With your permission, we send daily card and festival notifications. You can change or turn them off in the app or in your phone settings.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using Yelo and delete your account at any time. See yeloapp.in/delete-account. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or if the law requires us to.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Yelo is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. As far as the law allows, Nearcraft is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Yelo after that, you accept the new terms.
